ok, hope this doesnt sound to stupid. i dont beleive my truck has the battery warmer option like some cars. it has a really thick padded cover around it. whats the deal?

 

Guessing just to pretty up the engine compartment, as well s maybe control acid leakage.

 

maybe keep the battery warm and cuddly on chilly nights?

That is helpful info. But I wish the Manual (or Dealer Connect system) were as good on explaining some of the Why as well as the What. It would benefit the Dealership Mechanics and Service Writers - as well as us Owners...

It's to keep it warm on cold Canadian nights, surprised they did not get smart and put it in one of the compartments in the floor in the back. Too much storage space anyway. The Charger had a huge battery in the truck with the spare tire, never seen one that big and in the trunk....for weight distribution. BMW has had them low on the car for years. Even my son's soon to be mine is he doesnt slow down Avenger the battery was a mystery for a while, it is down in the bottom of the front of the fender, open a little door under the wheel well and takeit out.
I was wondering if anyone knew if this truck has boost spots, instead of directly on battery for jumpstarts, or where you hook up optional stuff, also is there one for the ground. Mr. Diagram??
