will their be problems with rust/corrosion under factory bed rails?

Default will their be problems with rust/corrosion under factory bed rails?

this is my first truck with plastic on the bed rails and tailgate. will their be any problems with the painted area its riding on over the years?

i was worried about the same thing and did what i think will prevent that. You can see the pictures in the "spray on bedliner" post
I don't think that many 09's have enough age to show signs of rust yet

I also was worried about that, plus how slippey everything was I put in the bed, so I told my dealer they could have the plastic liner to put in one of there other trucks on the lot and I ordered the dodge rubber mat for the bed and tailgate and nothing moves around on that mat

thebedrug is nice for that, nothing moves at all, I put wheel chair parts for it, batteries wheels all apart and it stays even when I get a bit jumpy on the gas. and it is comfortable to lay on if you want a nap under a tree, plus it doesn't wear at your paint since it is velcroed in. Looks pretty too, gas, oil, acid proof. pressure wash it off
