Remote Start radio Question
Another thing I noticed with remote start is you can leave the AC on when exiting the truck, but when you remote start it, the AC has to be turned on again. Not a big deal, but on a hot day it would be nice.
Should the AC resume normal operation when remote starting?

Whats ATC? I checked mine again yesterday to make sure I was right and I was. If I leave the AC on, both indicator lights on, and remote start, the lights do not come on and the AC just blows air. The fan comes on, but the AC does not. The indicator lights on the AC control ***** are off. I have to push them to get the AC back on again.
ATC stands for Automatic Temperature Control. It has an automatic feature that will set your blower speed and blower setting (floor, vent, defrost, etc) to the desired cabin temperature you set. It is also dual zone so that the driver and passenger can have different temperature settings.

It is a possibility. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible on a non-ATC truck though. You may want to ask your dealer. It is possible that they may be able to change that for you. It won't hurt to ask at least.
I had remote start on my '07 without ATC and the AC came on just fine when I remote started the truck. If it was on when I turned the truck off, it was on when I got inside after a remote start. You may want to have it looked at.
My radio works like the other guys if on when shut off it will be on when you start it and vice versa. Go to a good stereo shop they should be able to tell you whats up with that. Good luck.
