Should the AC resume normal operation when remote starting?
I too have ATC and the AC or heat comes on, as appropriate, as do the heated/cooled seats.

Whats ATC? I checked mine again yesterday to make sure I was right and I was. If I leave the AC on, both indicator lights on, and remote start, the lights do not come on and the AC just blows air. The fan comes on, but the AC does not. The indicator lights on the AC control ***** are off. I have to push them to get the AC back on again.

ATC stands for Automatic Temperature Control. It has an automatic feature that will set your blower speed and blower setting (floor, vent, defrost, etc) to the desired cabin temperature you set. It is also dual zone so that the driver and passenger can have different temperature settings.

Thanks. I do not have ATC. Is that why the AC must restarted each time I remote start the truck?

It is a possibility. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible on a non-ATC truck though. You may want to ask your dealer. It is possible that they may be able to change that for you. It won't hurt to ask at least.

I had remote start on my '07 without ATC and the AC came on just fine when I remote started the truck. If it was on when I turned the truck off, it was on when I got inside after a remote start. You may want to have it looked at.

I will add this to my list. When I go for my first oil change I will have them check everything I have listed. Appreciate the help.

Sorry, I'm of no help on the wire, but another acc wire to something that does turn on when the truck is remote started would definitely be the key here...
How long does it take you to get lost? LOL J/K
My radio works like the other guys if on when shut off it will be on when you start it and vice versa. Go to a good stereo shop they should be able to tell you whats up with that. Good luck.
