Default Bed Cover

I saw a 2009 yesterday with a really cool bed cover on it. It's not a hard cover. They come in black. Hidden hinge, 58Lb's, aluminum hardware, out of use storage hangers and no drilling. The company just came out with one for the 09 crew cab. Two locks with lock covers. You do not have to remove any molding on the bed top. It's made to fit perfectly over both sides and the slight flare on the tailgate. Locking tailgate NOT required. It caps over the tailgate so it will not open.
$619.00 + $69.00 common carrier freight.

See www.undercoverinfo.com Click on "availability" then "Dodge". Part # 3080.

I saw it in a parking lot and checked it out. Ordered one this morning.

I wonder if that will warp long term in the sun? Looks like injection molded plastic.

According to the manufacturer the cover has been tested in extreme heat and cold with a five year test program.
I actually saw it in person and it's stout as they come. The cover almost felt like polished leather. Very thick and strong. Very light. The truck owner came out when he saw me hanging around his truck. He walked me through all the pros and cons of the cover. Thats why I jumped on it today. It is truly attractive and looks real good on the 09 Ram. Best part is the guy told me it does not leak at all. He has a bed rug in his and it has never been wet. We have had over 10" of rain last month.

I have one... the Linex dealer I bought it from was a fan of the UV protection. The lid doesn't leak, but the tailgate does. I still need to apply a tailgate seal to keep it absolutely water tight.

I love the Undercover even though the two locks is somewhat tedious.

The cover comes with a cargo bar and tailgate seal at no charge. It was a special offer for internet orders. Glad you mentioned the tailgate leaking as I was not sure why the seal was included.

I'd take that deal. Mine was on sale at the time, but no cargo bar or tailgate seal. I only got water after personally spraying the tailgate. I didn't get any leakage after the dealer ran through their carwash after first oil change or heavy rains. Good seal.

I must've bumped the light switch when closing it though because my light is dead. Haven't taken it out to see what battery I need, yet.

What light switch? The cover has no light that I am aware of. That would be nice if mine has one too. The shipping company called this AM and it will be here on Monday. Very fast for common carrier. Ordered it last Weds.

How easy was yours to install? I downloaded the installation instructions and it looks like a breeze. Thanks John
