Default mygig/rer dvd brightness?

Could someone confirm if their interior console dimming also controls their mygig screen when viewing a dvd? I'm 99.9% sure this used to work for me when the mygig screen brightness is set to "autocolor" and the parking or headlights are on. It still works for every other screen (navigation, radio, menus, etc.), but when viewing a dvd it does not change anymore? I recently added a lockpic and microphone for ucconnect, but I'm not sure if one of these caused it?
Thanks.

Default

I was able to fix this by resetting the mygig back to factory defaults (via the seekup/seekdown + menu option). Prior to the factory defaults, I tried every option available in the menus to have the DVD video follow the dash brightness again. Not sure if it's a bug, but the factory defaults fixed it (for now). The only drawback is reseting to factory defaults also wipes anything you've added to the mygig (music, pics, address book, POI, etc.)
