Seems strange to me why Dodge didnt put a cargo light on the Ram to begin with. On my old 97 Ford when you turn on the interior light or open the door the rear brake light on the cab shines bright white to where you can see in the bed when its dark. I realize that wouldnt help if you had a bed cover on but that thing has comes in handy sometimes.

 

From the factory "picture" directions, is it saying the bed light switch is the one that activates them? That's my preference when I get around to doing this.
