Default Preformance Chips

Has anyone installed the Jet Performance Module for a 2009 ram 5.7 Hemi? I am torn between the Jet and the Hypertech but it looks like the Hypertech does not have half the features is should. and the Jet is like $100 cheaper.

Thanks Lee

^^^Your link didn't work, but I found the chips.

I had a stage 2 on a 2005 Ram and it really, really made a difference.

If I were to get anything I would wait on the Diablosport.

My personal take on this is that it is probably wise to not buy any of the first few products to market for these trucks. Aftermarket tuner companies have a particularly hard time with dodge products because dodge acts like a bunch of dumbasses with the computer code, making a big secret out of it. That makes a tuner's job much harder. Couple that with the introduction of two features not previously available in a hemi (active intake manifold and vct) and you have a situation ripe to produce overpriced products with bugs. I'm not saying that this will happen for sure, but I would not want to be a guinea pig.

My cousin's brother's step aunt said that her nephew's wife's freind read a magazine article that said programers are bad for your engine, at least if you plan on getting 800,000 miles out of your truck. The article continued to say that the OEM programer is much better anyhow. hahaha

What? I don't understand what you are trying to say.

I had the chip, not someone else.

Edit: Is this in response to the K&N argument??

But Diablo upgrades their product as they find problems, then the user can download them for free.

Default Diablo

It looks like the Diablo for a 2009 5.7 hemi is already out, is this correct?

http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...isplay&pid=118

Or is the truck a whole different animal than the jeep and car ones even though it is the same engine?
