Default Good price on base 4X2 ST Regular cab?

First, great forum! I appreciate the hospitality and patience with new folks here that I haven't seen in other forums. I searched around here but didn't see anyone mention good prices on an 09 ST regular cab V6 4X2. Looking for my teenage son's first truck and found one new for $15,700 OTD ($22,400 MSRP). What do you guys think?

OTD would be a good price.

I think you could probably get below 15k if you tried really hard, but that's not bad.

My '05 was a RCLB with 4.7 and auto and it was $15k + TTL.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy b/c I feel like the price is fair and I'm getting a fair deal on my trade also. Looks like I'll have a new truck soon...

The truck is for my son. I get to keep the payments, higher insurance premiums, and grey hairs! LOL!!!

if you go to Edmunds.com you can get to a section that allows you to put in all the options and you get three prices: 1. MSRP, 2. Invoice, 3. "What other people are paying for this vehicle.

I went in and put a standard truck, v6 regular bed with absolutely NO paid options. I put a central New Mexico zip code in. the results:

MSRP: 22,420
Invoice: 20,290
What other people are paying: 16,353

You should go in and put in all of the paid options on the sticker and see what the report tells you. I would not pay a dime over the 'what other people are paying' quote.
