Default Black SLT: Grille Swap

I swapped my chrome horizontal grille for a chrome honeycomb grille I picked up here.

Here's the before and after

The Honeycomb looks worlds better, IMO

I just replaced the whole grille. I got it from a user on here, 'looperk2', who took it off his own truck, because he bought a color matched grille for his truck.

The inserts look like a major hassle, looking at the back of the grille. Get a complete grille assembly if you can, you're talking 15 minutes to swap it versus probably 3-4 hours with the inserts.

They do sell the inserts separately. Both the horizontal and honeycomb style. The old trucks used push pins. These look to just clip on. But I'm sure changing out the whole thing is a real timesaver. You ought to be able to find a complete grill easy enough since a lot of the Sport guys are changing to a colored grill. If my truck was any color but silver, I'd be doing that myself.
