for those looking for TrueFlow XDI intake: STAY AWAY from autopartswarehouse.com
I recently ordered the XDI intake to compliment my mufflex install. Thinking it strange that my shipping notification never showed, I put my order number in their tracking site and got a simple 'processing' reply. This happened for a while, then today I checked and the reply was 'invalid order.' I got on live chat, gave them my order number, and found out that since they were 'temporarily' out of stock my order HAD BEEN CANCELLED. No phone call, no notification of any sort, just a cancelled order and a quiet (and DELAYED) refund to my credit (that wouldn't have showed up for a month if I hadn't gone looking for it to verify). When I asked whar happened, they said it was an automatic thing, like it was perfectly normal to let customers rot on the curb waiting for their junk to arrive, and when I explained my disapproval of their business practice and my intent to spread the word about my experience, suddenly he was very willing to help me by finding the part in their stock and discounting it 10%. My question to that was, of course, why the heck would a part suddenly appear in stock if they were so 'out of it' that they refunded my money... The only response I got then was a mysteriously disconnected session.
Just an FYI for you guys, as customer service is usually more important to me than pricing.

We once got the run around about some fog lights I ordered for my wifes car last year. What happened was I ordered a set of oem fog lights from a dealership in another state and they managed some how to charge us twice for them. When my wife did her online banking she saw they had done this and immediately called to find out just what kind of scam they were trying to pull. Oh no scam, they said they were going to fix the problem immediately and the refund should show by the following Monday. The extra charge actually showed up on a Friday while the initial charge was posted earlier in the week. So on Monday no refund. Tuesday, no refund. She called them again and had to explain the whole story again to someone higher on the totem pole. Then finally the refund shows in our account. However, they had refunded us both charges. I told my wife not to spend the money in case they decided they wanted it back. I suggested to her not to let them know what they had done as they were not going to let us know they had charged us twice so she didn't. To this day they have never contacted us about it so technically we got a set of $250 oem foglights for free. We traded the car and got the 09 RAM now. You seriously have to watch your back out there in regards to some online vendors.
