Mopars Big Red Ram - 4" lift fits 37s
All you get for ground clearance is the 2.5" from the tires, they drop the crossmember 4" which results in a 0" gain from anything but the tires.
But, there is enough clearance for me to crawl under mine and change the oil without jacking it, as it sits stock.
Point being that it is mostly for looks. Raising your COG 6.5" to get 2.5" more ground clearance is crazy. As you pointed out, these trucks already sit really high.
Anyone serious about using one of these offroad who wanted to run 37's would build or buy cutaway flares so that the tires would fit with 0" of lift, and COG would only be raised by the same amount as ground clearance.
The suspension lift will improve approach angle, breakover angle, and departure angle. When four wheeling it tends to be easier to miss objects with your differentials by careful tire placement than it is to avoid bumper or skid plate contact from a truck that is too low. I think the lift would help for off road use with this truck as much as it would with any truck. It is still going to be limited in off road capabiliity because of the IFS though.
A 4" lift on a solid axle vehicle doesn't raise the differentials either. The solid axle vehicle has the advantage over the IFS vehicle in regards to articulation, but that advantage is due to its design differences.

This kit isn't new, I found a March thread on hear while searching Google for a price.

Be careful though, this may be the thread that brought up all the TRX4 spacer confusion, because it says the kit will not work for TRX4. I think the only advantage of this lift is warranty related. I think the article said that the lift was designed to keep the suspension travel as though other lifts may limit it? That's what I got anyhow. I'm really not a big fan of coil suspensions for off road, but for this truck, ground clearance would fit my needs best.

they have this lift on a TRX4 at my local dealership. When i asked about buying the kit for mine, i was told that they would not sell it to me as it's not meant for the TRX4 and they had to modify it to fit theirs, which is just a demo. Mopar should be coming out with a TRX4 lift soon. Looks good sitting on 35's, maybe i'll swing by and take some pics for you guys
