ABS and ESP Weirdness

I took my 09 Laramie in for a Recall Flash and replacement of the HVAC Acuators. There was a popping noise under my dash at the time so they did replace the actuator and recirculation door and reprogrammed the control head and calibrated the others.
As I pulled out of the dealership, the truck was 'stiff'. The ESP / BAS indicator in the center of the display console flashed and then the traction control indicator illuminated. As I moved forward, the brakes began to engage and I pulled over and shut down. Restarting did not help. The truck would not move in drive without significant amount of throttle. I called the dealership back at that point and they acted like I was nuts (probably because I asked them what they did to the truck to make it behave this way). They gave me the number to a tow truck (had to send a flat bed) and put me in a rental until they figure it out. I have not heard from them yet today but will report more when I get a diagnosis from them.

The popping under the dash had me pretty worried, but thanks to DF I'm pretty confident I know what is making that noise....

Yesterday , the ABS on the dash , the esc light came on and in the center light came on . Stoped thr truck , shut down for 2 mins. re start and went off.
About 5 mins later they came back on .
For a while I would hear a "ding" noise but I Thought it was from my I phone . I would look at the dash and not see anything on , I am wondering now this was happening at that time also?
Will take it in to the dealer " Linda " and see what they say?

I had all of the same issues listed - they replace the ABS module for me ... well, twice, apparently the first one was bad. It's been fine for several months now. Not sure where that part is located or what it costs, had it done under warranty.

At Dealer today , on ABS problem ...found bad whell sensor on rear
covered under Max care , 157,000 miles on 09 ... got love that truck
Drove to some jobs yesterday , fuled up reset the mpg .. A/C on - highway speed some stop and slow down stayed under 70 [68 is prime] avg .. 20.1 ... Not bad
