The thing to remember is that if you choose to order, the current rebates and such will not apply as the truck will be a 2010. Not that it is a bad idea, just something to be aware of. Your ordered truck would be 1 model year newer which would help resale so it's a tradeoff. But the pickings are slim on the 09's so you'll have to decide what you can live with.

Under normal conditions, I would say 4-8 weeks for the order. But with the plant just starting up and then closing for the summer break, it's hard to say how long it would take.

I've dealt with smaller dealers and they will generally put the info in the computer on what you are looking for and then try to locate a truck for you while you sit there. But another issue you may run into is that the located dealer that has the truck may not trade or sell to your dealer since they are getting kinda scarce due to the shutdown. Just depends but that is the way it was when I bought mine in this area.
