well i just did! WTF. i am pissed. i dont think anyone else has but i fig i would vent/ask. lol.

my front bumper was repaired at the body shop before i took delivery. im just guessing they wet sanded it to thin so with a little pressure from a power washer up front it went right through the clear.

disclaimer: its a regular pull in bay car power wash. i didint use it different than any other vehicle i have ever owned. i just washed my 08 grand cherokee overland their last week. the clear didnt pop through on that bumper, or any other car i have owned.

this sucks. now i have to take it back.......

 

Yea, I'd definitely take it back and get them to replace the bumper completely. Sounds like they took the cheap way out on some repairs, so now it'll cost them a little extra to do it the right way this time.

 

My broinlaw has an 09 Ford Edge....the colour is like the Patriot Blue we had, My 2000 Dakota Quad had to be painted and they are so cheap they should have just painted the whole truck they wound up painting everything except the passenger door and it cost them a rental car for a week or 2 the 5 times it took to get it right, back to the Edge...he is going thru what I was thin paint, you can see the ecoat right thru it. They argued with me up and down about painting certain areas as Ford is with him so body shops as far as I am concerned are basically rip offs.
