Just thought id introduce myself as well and ask a question or 2. I bought an 09 Ram Laramie about 2 weeks ago and im loving it! Ive been a GM guy my whole life but the new Ram caught my eye and im not disapionted at all. In the last 2 weeks ive put almost 6k miles on it. Im in the Army just returning from Iraq so I used my leave and drove around to see some of the country and the ram was the perfect truck for it! Only issue ive had with the truck was the WIN system. I took my keys out to go into a store, when i came back and put them in the ignition, I was given a damagaed key message and nothing would work. I tried my spare but same thing. I was on the phone ready to get it towed to a dealership when it started working again. I took it to the shop right away and they told me the WIN node wasnt reading the key and they have been having issues with this system on other dodge vehicles. Of course the part was on backorder so they couldnt get me fixed right then. In the meantime ive just been leaving my key in it and using my spare to lock and unlock the truck. Has anyone else had this problem? thanks again, great site!

 

Never had that exact problem... ive had both my keys randomly just not work... they wont lock, unlock, or start or anything for a few seconds. But then it snaps out of it.

thats alot of miles in 2 weeks. dodge designed this truck really well...everyone who see the interior is really impressed, once they ride it they want to buy one too.
