It looks like they are going backwards, why not put the nice front end on the HD trucks?

 

I like that alot in a monotone or two tone setup, less chrome for me. I wish my TRX4 was more like that power wagon, i would seriously consider trading in if it came with a CTD.

 

They are, the 2010 HD's are supposed to be the same in body as the 2009 1500's.. Bumpers a little different but i think thats for better approach angles and ground clearance

 

I really like the HDs, I miss my 2500HD with the diesel and manual trans. Already thinking about trading- shhh, don't tell the wife!

 

When Ford started making their HD trucks (F-250/350) look a lot different and more aggressive looking when compared to the F-150, the press and public lambasted GM & Dodge for their whole line up looking the same. Since then both have tried to tweak their HD models enough to distinguish them from the 1500s. It worked for Ford, but I don't think GM & Dodge have ever been able to pull it off as well as the Blue Oval boys did.

As BigRed said, the HD Dodges will be the same basic body, just with different front ends.

 

That ole girl doesn't look very "power wagonish" .... if it werent for the winch it would look like every other 3/4 ton Ram. It doesn't sit up higher like the previous power wagon did... in my redneck opinion. She's still mean though

And I actually like the HD Ram noses better than the 1/2 ton noses dadgum it!
