I guess a better question is how often do you go "on-road" in your 4x4...if your going "on-road" with it then it's pointless to have a 4x4...much like it's pointless to go "Off-road" in a 2wd truck...It can go "Off-road" just as easy as any other stock 2wd truck can...but im not an off-roader...I live in a city of 50,000 that has roads leading to every place I go...but I do take it to the farm occasionally...But that's the extent of my off-roading...whether in my show truck or in my stock truck.

Also Mikey boy I must add...My truck won me about $1000 in prize money last year...and I didn't roughly 10k worth of work on the side that stemed from my truck...which is roughly what i've spent on it so far...so I'm +$1000...and I got alot more work lined up...How much money did your Stock 09 4x4 make you last year...Im educating you to fix your ignorance...hopefully that's what this misunderstanding is...

Hey. As I said to each his own. Its just not my taste. You made the statement your changes improved your truck so it can do what a stock can't. I just can't see how lowering it improved the trucks capability. I'm glad your happy with it. Enjoy.
As far as my 4x4 use. I have 7K on my truck. About 2K has been in 4x4 use. I drive a lot of Forest roads. During the winter it comes in handy with snowy roads. Also is great in the summer when the roads get muddy from thunderstorms. Again to each his own. I was not putting your vehicle down.

Lowering it has done alotta things to it...for one...the ride height is about 10 inches lower than a stock truck...therefore the center of gravity is 10 inches lower than the center of gravity on a stock truck...hence less bodyroll...less body roll means more tire and weight on the road when cornering...lower ride height less drag (Nascar's)...by redesigning the frame I cut 250lbs off the weight of the vehicle...therefore...I get between 19-21mpg on the hwy doin 75...4-5 miles better than a stock 4.7.... times that by 26 gallons and I get an extra 100 miles per tank than someone with a stock 02 1500 with a 4.7 goin down the HWY. That's not even talking about what kinda mpg the cummins will get...hope to be getting 25 mpg...exactly what my wifes 4cyl gets...but in a truck that can easily tow 10k pounds. Speaking of towing...i can put several 1000 lbs in the bed or on the hitch of my truck...and it doesn't sag...it won't bottom out...I just hit a switch and it's back to the height i want it to be. With all that said...thats not even the best part...why does cadillacs have airbags on their suspension...because they ride smooth...unlike what it did prior to me doin the work i did. So yes...I have dramatically improved the truck over stock.
