Default Muffler upgrade ?'s

My new SLT Hemi Ram has the single side exit exhaust and I would like to replace the muffler but I am not sure what size to go with. The stock muffler is very tiny already and sits towards the very end of the bed. What size muffler should I be looking at and should I expect the muffler shop to place the new muffler in the same location or would they have to relocate it somewhere under the body? Thanks

You're looking at the resonator, not the muffler.

Awesome, I feel like an idiot. I come from Jeeps and traded in a 07 for the Ram. I am used to modding the Jeeps and am trying to learn about my Ram and appreciate the help from you guys. With that being said any particular size I should be looking at if I go with a Flowmaster 50 Series HD? Thanks

Look through the forum, there are already plenty of posts about ripping out perfectly good mufflers.

Yes there are! I'm a Flowmaster guy myself... but it depends if you're looking for deep or loud

does the dual exhaust only need to have the Y-connection added if you buy the dual exhaust kit (ie. mufflex DODS14/18M)?
