I had some time and a second Ram Emblem from when I replaced my grille, so I picked up a couple of cans of spray paint, and went to town

By itself, I think the satin paint looks great, it's exactly what I was going for. Once it's on the truck, I'm not so sure. I may clearcoat the whole thing to get a gloss on it.

Thoughts?

 

Ya, just my .02 cents YUCK. Dosen't flow with the truck at all sorry. Just my .02 cents though.

 

Looks good sitting on the tailgate, bad on the truck. Would make a great paperweight for your desk.

Maybe one the tailgate but even that I doubt.wrong colours for that truck, I think that is the only good badge but it is just too big but that is for show.

 

Agreed, looks tough by itself. Not so hot up against the chrome grill.

 

If ya lived in TX, you could make it a belt buckle!

 

This would look awesome on a TRX or Sport with color grill. You could leave the border black and paint the inside of the shield to match the grill/body color. I'd love to see this on one of the red Sports here on the forum.

 

Might look a little better if it was painted the same color as the truck.

 

I agree with some of the comments here, it looks cool by itself, but it just doesn't sit right when it's on the truck.

I have Rev. 2 in the works, I should be finished with it tomorrow.
