Default Evic Software Version

You can check this by holding down the trip reset button and turning the key to on (not start) it will do a gauge check and all the icons will pop up and show the version on the evic, what version do you guys have? I'm thinking that we could get these upgraded to the latest version to get all the features that the later build dates have?

Another thread talked about those that don't have the MDS light. Seems the solution is not just software but requires replacing the gauge cluster (tach/evic/speed). Part is around $160-200 + labor (if dealer does replacement)
One alternative I am looking at is the dashhawk for $299. It will show many of the save parameters the evic does and more, including when the mds is active.

Factory one is cheaper, 15 minutes to install probably.

My dealer cant even pull up a part number for these, let alone order one. He can locate it in his computer but doesn't know how to order it...

I'm gonna call around to other dealers and see if they can get me a better answer. Anyone happen to know the part number?

See thread https://dodgeforum.com/forum/4th-gen...ver-light.html. Seems there is a flash update for the computer that will give those of us without the fuels saver light the light without having to get a new gauge cluster.
