Got my new Ram, Question regarding interior vibration??
Hello:
I picked up my Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 Crew Cab, and put on roughly 500 miles. I like the truck, but one thing is irritating me.
Driving over certain roads I can hear a "rub/vibration" from the center console. It's not rattling, just a rub/vibration sound from the plastic/rubber center console (radio).
I can go over railroad crossing and large bumps and not hear anything. It's just certain roads that I can hear it. If I put my finger on the plastic piece around the radio it stops.
I've owned MANY cars in the last 10 years, and I've never experienced this before. All have never had any type of vibration at all.
Anyone else experience this? So, what do I do? It just sucks spending this kind of money, and having to post a question like this
THANKS,
PJ

I have a similar issue with the center console and the center (radio) stack rubbing together. Looks like the bottom left and right corners of the pieces are hitting. Like you said it doesn't happen all the time only on certain roads. If I press down on the left corner of the console where it meets the center stack the I can feel the vibration and the noise stops.

Not to sound ignorant but is this your first car for some of you? I would say this post is not worth continuing unless someone knows a quick fix that can stop you wasting your time making most likely 2 trips to the dealer. Sorry, but when you buy a new truck and something is wrong with it....common sense says "use that warranty"
