Can any one give me some tips on installing a muffler my self, I'm thinking of ordering the Mufflex series 14 and were is the best place to buy one and my last big concern is hereing the MDS kick in and out and I will leave the resonators in this time.

You'll need only 3 things, a 15mm deep socket, PB Breaker spray for the muffler connections, then WD40 to lube the hangers.

Installation is easy. I did it myself, alone and in my driveway, and it took only 40 minutes.

As for the MDS, yes, it sounds like crap. Supposedly though the recent computer upgrade will smooth out the MDS shift and should make it sound better.

 

I just got of the phone with Corsa and they will have a system out in two weeks for the truck that will also address the MDS.

 

Let us know what ya hear from Corsa. I'm liking the sound clips on their site. Did they say if it was just going to be a muffler replacment or a complete exhaust?
