Default Exhuast tips

I'm thinking about removing the factory chrome tips, and putting some longer ones on. Has any one done this, and how hard was it to break the weld Dodge has on the factory tips. I'm doing this because last winter the exhuast froze over the rear sensors cause them to go off. The longer tips will hopefully prevent this.

There was a RRT that came out in April or May that was to address the sensors and ice. Not sure if that is a fix for this or not?? But I would not want my tips extended so that you can hit you legs on a hot exhaust pipe.

Why not just push the button to turn off the Park Assist? Just curious.

Because some time my rear camera dosen't do the job, it might be covered with snow from driving. So it would be nice to have the sensors as back-up.

Just got that done today, didn't know it was an issue though.
