does the ram 1500 crewcab 2009 fit a dirtbike with the tailgate closed?

Neither one fits a full size dirtbike with the gate closed. The quadcab can if you kick the rear of the bike around. The QC has a 6'3" bed, CC is 7 inches shorter. I have had both and the QC bed seems much bigger than just a few inches. I have the CC, but really miss the longer bed of the QC.
What Dr. Bill said. My YZ-125 will fit in my 03 QC if I kick it around. In my CC it would not fit regardless. Now if you have a YZ-80 it probably will.
i have a 250f too.
would you mind sending me a picture of that when you get the chance?
i know its a pain in the *** to do it but if you wanna send it by phone. my number is (858) 353 9737
The bed extender fits inside the bed and then folds up and over onto the down tail gate... So if you wanted to use it with a dirtbike you would have to install it after the bike is in, or take the dirt bike up and over the extender. Which doesn't sound fun at all...

Sure will do. I don't have anything to do tonight, so I'll do it once I get home.

You're absolutely right about not being fun at all to have to lift the bike over the extender. The only time I have found a bed extender helpful was when I was hauling 2 bikes, then it would keep my gear from falling out, but there are other ways to get around that. BTW, I don't have a bed extender a friend of mine had one on his short bed truck and I can't remember how it worked exactly.
