Reading another post here I noticed a lot of folks talking about getting rid of all the chrome. While I agree that to much chrome can be distracting from the vehicle, just the right amount can make a vehicle look perfect. Additionally I think it really depends on the color of the trck as to how much and where to have the chrome. I am not saying either way is better than the other just wanted to get some opinions. So I ask everyone: Chrome or no Chrome?

 

IMO all sports should be rid of of the small amount of chrome that they have (grill and wheels). The laramies have lots of chrome and they should keep it, especially those with two-tone.

 

A big determining factor is what kind of truck you have. The Sports should have the painted grille. It's not that the chrome grille is bad, it just doesn't fit on a Sport with painted bumpers. That is the number one gripe about chrome on here and the other forums.

I don't mind the chrome rims on a Sport. They look fine and if replaced would probably also be chrome.

 

I have bright silver, I'll keep the chrome. Now if I'd have gotten blue, would have bought a colored grill to replace. I think I'd keep the chrome wheels too.
