congress couldn't understand it ether, but caved under pressure to do anything, for those in Canada, our dealerships were privatly owned also with franchize laws protecting them, for some reason Goverment let them cut the dealers with no penality under bankruptcy, some had been loyal Chrysler dealers for decades, my dealer was the only Chrysler dealer in U.S. that sold more cars last year than year before and was # 2 in nation in sales this May, excellent service ( free car wash and vacuam with oil change) internet and free fresh cookies (man I miss those!!) in waiting room, open till 7 plus Saturdays and still got cut and his franchize given to someone else! Makes me wonder how I will be treated if they can find a loophole in my waranty, already won in court not to be responsible for any liability for pre bankruptcy chryslers, I wonder if they meant pre sold or prebuilt, since production is just now starting back most of the cars being sold were built by old chrysler, will they stand behind them on liability isssues?

I lost mine too, and they gave it to the Jeep dealer next door. They were 5 star and the Jeep dealer was nothing. Wierd how they got the franchise. Lost great customer service. So I went to the new dealer in town, talked for about 5 min with service and got the heck out of there, drove 15 miles th the other dealer and got great treatment. Guess I found a good one again, but it is a paint have to drive 25 miles to get it. I know it is not far, but before it was lots closer.

I bet mine wont, he was very upset with Chrysler, he had just bought a big piece of land on the service rd on interstate and was allready storing about 50 dodge trucks on it, said he had a contract with Chrysler to build a brand new dealership ther next year, I thought he might have been cut because he had some other brand dealerships around town but my new dealer has a chevy dealership in the same parking lot next door, they share an entrance rd, in fact I took my truck to the chrysler service garage there and they moved it over to the Chevy garage to change the oil

The dealer I lost was told by DC they were going to be the dealer of choice in the area. Then 2 weeks later they get "The Letter". Not very happy owners at all, and I don't blame them. They will not be back..
