Default Dyno #s

The R/T right now is being tested by K&N for the upcomming 09 and up Ram Hemi intake and was told today that it made 304hp bone stock at the wheels on their SuperFlow dyno. Alittle less than I was hoping for but aleast we know the baseline in 95 degree weather.

Still *very* impressive to a former 3x 04-08 style F150 guy. 22% drive train loss is not all that bad when you consider my 06 F150 FX4 with the 5.4L 4speed trans w/ 3.73 rear stock at 300hp to the flywheel was 214 rwhp ( 28.5% loss ). This was on a dynojet, 85 degree day but with a huge barrel fan blowing in front. A stage II package ( tuner/intake/catback magnaflow exhaust/efans and ud pulleys ) brought it up to 264 rwhp, same dyno around same temp but it was enough for me to walk any stock 3rd gen Ram around town.

Im going to dyno mine next week at the FastHemis grand opening ($75 special 3 runs).. so i will be able to compare mine with an intake and exhaust to other rams to see if i gained/lost and hp/tq throughout the power band.. im guessing my 24s will throw off the results a little... maybe i can bolt on someones stocks for the run..

td according to that dyno in the link you posted these rams only put about 263 hp out... thats a little low by any measure.. i dont see 130 hp loss through the drivetrain..

and not even 260 ft lbs of tq.... somethings is wrong with that dyno sheet
