I've got an SLT Quad Cab with the single headlight and was wondering does anybody know if the dual headlight like on the TRX and Laramies is a direct swap? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the dual headlight config is seperate bulbs for low and high beams?

I want to upgrade to HIDs and have read how HID for Highbeams are not a great idea. If you flash or turn them off and on rapidly you run the risk of burning out the ignitors and/or the bulbs due to the brief warm up period they require.

 

they are seperate bulbs but the quads have a single plug in in the back for your wires i havn't checked mine to see if they are the same plug in or not.

 

any body else thought of doing this swap?
