My RRT Results.
Hey Everyone, Just got back from dealership had the trans pan leak fixed and the RRT updates. Wow where to being. 1st left the dealership just fine 1/2 mile down the road "bing" check engine light, oh crap here we go. Turned around and went back talked to the tech he hooked it back up and the code is for the wiring harness for the short/long runners for the intake ( too short)?? My question is why didn't the check engine light come on before? Why after the updates? So my thinking is maybe this short/long runner option was not turned on for my truck before? Anyways the harness should be here Tuesday. I have 09 Ram TRX4, 5.7L 3.92 LSD
The RRT's that they did for me:
1. Replaced Ambient Temp. Sensor and Harness
2. Vent, Axle Retaining Clip-Secure
3. Lubricate Rear Cross Tube??
4. Tailgate Spoiler (backorder),
5. Module, Anti-Lock Brake Control-Replace Reprogram
6. Flash PTS Module Per TSB# 08-010-09???
7. Flash PCM Per TSB# 08-019-09 Reprogram Module, Powertrain Control PCM
8. Flashed HVAC
Talked to the tech for awhile today and he said these new rams are kicking their butts because of all the different programming Example: TRX4 4.7L versus 5.7L different program, Laramie loud versus quite exhaust different programing. Seems these trucks all have a different program per options you have. Also they are confussed about the VVT, VCT engine differences. And they say the engineers aren't very much help when the call them for help.

Ya no problem. What everyone to know the issues some dealerships are having with these trucks. Maybe this runner issue is the reason I get really poor highway and towing mileage?
