Default LF Used rims for winter - what years?

I want to purchase some used rims for mounting winter tires.

I want alloy, not steel, aluminum, not plastic-clad, silver (shiny), not black. Nothing fancy or too hard to clean. I like the OEM rims that used to come with the RAM.

I currently have the Goodyear Wrangler HPs on the stock 20" rims (P275/60R20).
I have checked with tirerack.com to try to find the answers to these questions:

1. How/where can I find out if rims from other-year trucks will fit my bolt pattern, offset, etc.

2. If these rims are not 20" (say 17"), can I get rubber in winter format that will have the correct width and aspect ratio to maintain the same rolling diameter so my speedo and computer are not off?

Any help is appreciated.

I have $2000 saved for rubber and wheels, so I plan to call around to wrecking yards to find some used rims and buy the rubber new.
I love the chrome on this truck, so I won't want to go with steel wheels to reduce cost.

I'm pretty sure any 1500 wheels from 2002 on up will fit and yes, just get the tire size that comes with the stock 17's and your speedo should be fine.

I never get any options for anything less than 20" when I enter all the vehicle information in sites like tirerack.com.
Does this mean below 20" is not an option for me?
How do I find out if the lower diameter rim still leaves me with winter tire possibilities that will give me the same outer diameter as my OEM 20"?
Will I have issues with the auto-sensing tire pressure on my truck?

I just realised the OEMs from previous years was chrome clad too! I like these, but all seem out of my rpice range - dreaming maybe.

The reason tirerack doesn't give you any options is because the SLT's all cam e w/ 20's. Try to find some Chrome Clad Steel wheels that came optional on the ST's. Here's a link to the Dodge wheels website.

To find the effects of any chosen tire dimensions, try a Tire Calculator Site such as this:
http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

To find your way through the confusion of various wheel options - good luck... I'm also "In Search Of..." a 20x8J 5x5.5 18-20 Offset Steel Wheel to use to hang a Full Size Spare under my 09 SLT CC 4x4. I haven't yet started cruising the Junk Yards, but that is looking like the next stop.
