Reg. unleaded $ 3.13 gal in Fairbanks, AK : here's a real shock for you

Our state suspended its .08 cents gas tax for the past year untill next week.

The refinery is only 20 miles down the road.

The refinery receives its oil directly from the AK pipeline.

$2.39 for 87,not too far from the Cushing,Ok distribution center.I keep reading that all the refineries are at about 77% capacity, due to the cheaper price of oil,a lot less profit to refine $75 a barrel then when oil was $140 a barrel. If you hav'nt noticed all the big oil's profits were about a fraction now then when last year when oil was double what it is now.I just wanted to bit$h a little.

Same State and City and it depends on what side of the city you are on. Even on post there is no difference. Sad to say is it is actually cheaper off post. I only use 89, used 91 couple times didn't see any gains.
