Default Hole through floorboard...why? I have no idea.

Decided to install the locking lug-nuts after reading the post about stolen wheels. I was shocked when I removed the wingnut bolt holding the jack in place to find I could see the pavement through the hole!

I love the truck just thought the floorboard was a little thicker as there is no reason the wingnut for the jack would go all the way through.

Its a nut welded to the floor that is goes into and thru. look over 9 inches there is a hole cut in the carpet but the floor is not cut thru on mine anyway?
