Thumbs up best sunshield i have ever bought!!

hey guys. fig. it might help somebody out if i posted this. i recently bought this sunshield for my truck..

http://www.coverking.com/customsunshields.html

its awesome. fits the WHOLE windshield. pretty rigid. all in all a great product at a reasonable price. i ordered it direct.

i guess if their was any downside it would be, that it just rolls up for storage. doesnt do any fancy folding ect. its not huge, just wont fit in the smallest spaces. but usually those fancy folders dont work to good for covering all of the windshield.

hope this helps someone... DISCLAIMER. i am not affiliated with or have any financial interest in coverking. i just like to post good reviews of great companys that make a great product and deserve the advertisement.

oh yeah, the best part MADE IN USA!! (read their manufacturing practices at that bottom. it really makes me want to purchase their products.)

I got a Jumbo sized one from Walmart. It was less that $10, but it doesn't fold nicely or feel sturdy. It does offer full coverage, though.

So $37 plus shipping (I assume) or $10 plus the PITA of a non folding or rolling version. I may go with the pricey version, eventually.

Thanks for the link crod. I ordered one this morning. Shipping to TX it was $43. I have purchased many of the cheaper sunshades in the past only to have them fall apart or as you said not cover completely, no place to put them out of the way when in the truck etc. Going with the old saying "you get what you pay for" I'm hoping for a little more life and better fit with this one. To bad they haven't invented the roll up sunshade from the mfg yet. You know, the one that you push a button and the shade rolls out of the headliner down the tracks mounted in the A pillers and completely covers the windshield? The one made from aluminum covered with a mirror finish on the outside! Now that would be an option I'd go for every time. Jeff.

The Covercraft shades are even better since they are rigid unlike this kind that has a tendancy to roll up at the ends. They also fold and will easily store behind the folding rear seat. That is what I would go with but they haven't come out with one for the 09 yet. I believe they are also the same ones that Mopar sells. Had one for my 05 and it was the best of any I have owned.

Rolling and unrolling a shade and putting it up and down just takes too much time. I just let the truck cool itself back down using remote start.

I got mine here
http://www.canvasworks.com/
Have had it for two months and love it, it does a great job they are not a one size fits all they are cut for each car or truck.

Seems to be just like Crods
