Been looking for this everywhere. Dealer tells me they aren't available because they haven't even been made yet. Why do I see several 2009/10s with them installed then? I'm looking for the manual, key locking type, not the electronic key fob lock. I'm in Canada. Where can I order one of these?

I have a 09 Ram, and looking for just a standard black lociknig tailgate, where can I find one? I have searched the forum and see people talk about them but where to purchase them extactly.

I've got a handle complete with a new lock cylinder. Have the extra parts from adding the factory camera.

 

If you are planning to add a back up camera from the factory they send you a new handle and all, I wonder if it has the lock on it? But if you are not planning it then....order it from the US are you on a border town, go over to a dealer there and pick it up. If they want to be that silly here and treat you like you are stupid then let them lose the sale go to a different dealer than the one you bought it from and just tell them you bought an early build 09 and want a locking tailgate, but not power, They are not cheap at the dealer but where else you gonna get it. Try ebay there are dealers on there selling stuff. Good Luck
