Herculinered my bed.
Did you scratch the crap out of the bed before you applied it? My uncle use to think of these as permanent installs. He always made sure that they scratched bed to make it so it never came loose, and, had something to hold onto.
Does look pretty good though.

I used 600 grit sandpaper. Most of the bed looked white since the sandpaper went through the red paint to the primer.
This stuff is not going to come off easily. That is a good thing, unless I want to go a different route someday.
Should be OK unless you slide a lot of heavy stuff into the bed, if you do it tears up pretty easily. I run Herc in my jeeps, and have to touch up the drivers floor every couple of years because it wears away. Nice thing about it is that you can do the touch up inexpensively.
It looks a little blotchy. Was it because it was still fresh? Does it look better in person?
At that price, it seems like a good option. My bed is already all scratched up from moving stuff and supplies.

Stuff always looks blotchy when new. Herc is almost gloss black when you put it on, but once you use it a little the dust and dirt makes it look more flat black.

Looks pretty good so far. How long did it take from start to finish? For some reason I just dont trust Herculiner based on the application but since I have never seen a truck with it in it I don't know. (I did see a truck with a roll on application before but not sure if it was Herculiner...it was very bad) How thick does it actually apply? I just got the Rhino a couple weeks ago. I drove about 50 miles to another dealer as the local guy was charging way too much. The guy did it in 2 hours and charged me $400 OTD which was $225+ cheaper than the local dealer and $90+ cheaper than the Line-X guy. He was also impressed with the Ram Boxes as he had never seen them prior. He did great work and it is my second Rhino.
Keep us posted on the use and durability of the Herculiner. May use it next time if it holds up.
