1500 Suspension - Ideas?
Okay, so I have a love/hate relationship with my truck. I bought it in April, and I've managed to get about 17,000 miles on there already.
I use the truck to haul appropriately-sized enclosed and open trailers, hauling various types of equipment.
After feeling completely let down by the 09's coil springs, I had my dealer install Air Lifts (airbags) inside of the coil springs, which actually helped the truck handle trailers almost as well as a Ram 2500 would.
(most of that information might be completely irrelevant, but might be helpful in figuring out what's going on here.)
So, anyway, I've always thought that the left side of my truck handled the rough much stiffer than the right side of the truck. After getting a few "well, we think it's fine" answers from the dealer, I just kind of let it go.
On Friday, I had to back a trailer up on to a sidewalk, which meant going over a curb. Not a problem, right?
I did that, and did it as evenly as I could with the truck, but given the limited amount of space I had to work with, each tire (on trailer and truck) went over the curb one at a time.
And...NOW, the left side rides considerably softer than the right side (opposite of what the situation was before). The truck drives almost as if I have a flat tire on the left side.
(For the record, I always keep balanced amounts of air in the air bags and I have checked them since noticing that the left side got softer.)
Am I crazy? What's going on here?
Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Is the height of the truck different?
Another person found out there are 11(?) different rear coils for our truck. He had two different coils on the rear of his truck. Maybe you have two different ones as well?

That makes sense. I didn't realize that.
