Need advice...
Well I finally got a new Ram!! It is an 09 Laramie CC. Got 500 miles on it and it has been great! Now here is my question. Once a year I tow our TT off our seasonal site for vacation. We have a golf cart that for years we wished we could bring with us but couldn't, we use to have a Durango. Anyway the CC has a 5'6" bed and the golf cart is just over 7 ft long. It weighs about 550 lbs, most of the weight is in the back. I can lift up the front of the cart. I have come up with two ideas for putting it in the bed. First one is to back it in with the front wheels resting on the tailgate, however I would need to remove the power jack and propane tanks from the front of the trailer so the tailgate would clear. Second idea is to put the golf cart in the same way however jack up the front and support it behind the front wheels with a 4x4 post running across the bed and resting on the fenders allowing me to shut the tailgate. In other words the golf cart would be at an angle.
I have seen the lifts and HD bed covers that allow you to drive up ATV's and such. Since this is a once a year deal I dont want to spend that kind of money.

you would have to be careful during tight turns and when you pull into gas stations so that the tailgate does not hit your trailer but sounds like if you back the cart into the bed and block the rear wheels so it cant roll forward and strap it down tight then you should be good to go. Not the best way to do it but if you only do it twice a year then it should work.
