What does a Crew Cab Big Horn Cost?
I see the sticker prices, but haven't actually talked to a dealer, I know a lot of guys on here have bought one, what does a 2009 Big Horn Crew Cab with a 5.7 Hemi go for? I'm not looking for a Laramie, just a regular big horn hemi.
Can anybody tell me what price they're going for before taxes?
thanks

My Lonestar (same thing) stickered for $38,715. The dealer would not budge off that. If the next closest dealer wasn't in the ghetto 20 miles farther away, I would have tried there. However, I managed to talk them into giving me $12,500 for my trade ('07 regular cab SLT 4.7/auto, 25k miles), and I got the $5,500 rebate, plus they threw in a spray in bed liner and running boards. That, with $2,000 down and my payment is $399.65/month.
You need to talk to someone in your same area. It all depends on how well trucks are selling in your particular area as to how much they will come down off the MSRP. If they are moving them steadily, good luck. If they are sitting on the lot, you can deal.

My 09 Big Horn 4x4 Crew Cab stickered for 40,700. With all incentives and getting the dealer to about 2% under invoice due to an affiliation with my place of employment mine was roughly 28k. Options in addition to Big Horn were bed liner, XL fuel tank and protection group.

I guess some people bought when the incentives were not as good or just did not feel the need to haggle. Personally I purchased a Laramie that stickered for a bit over $47K for a little under $34K, so a little over $13K off, plus 0% interest for 48 months. That said, there have been others here who got a better deal than that if I recall. It's really hard to ask what others paid since incentives were all over the place this year, and depending on when you bought a great deal could have been as little as $3K off or as much as $13-14K off. It's also important to note that some people got the 0% for either 36 or 48 months, and this can be a savings of up to $8000 just in finance charges, so it could be argued someone who got that 0% for 48 months, and $12K off really saved $20K overall.

I agree, Shumdit - depends on a lot of factors. From those that have posted, it does not sound like anyone was "taken".
I have bought many cars. The bigest thing for me is that I do my research and don't hesitate to walk away from the table when I am not getting what I ask for. In the case of my truck, I found it at a dealership several hundred miles away. I walked into a local dealership with the VIN and all my numbers in hand. They lowballed my trade to the point of insult. When I challenged the trade, then came the personal insults. I walked away - in my opinion, they were too cocky for a truck that was not even on their lot!
I called a dealership in the next town, explained what I had just went through and they said stop by. 20 minutes later, my new truck was on its way!
Did some get a better deal, probably. Did some get extras from the dealer that I did not, probably. However, at the end of the day, there is something to be said for feeling good about the deal, and being happy with the service I got from the dealer.
