Default Found wheels and tires - what about tire pressure sensors?

As some of you will recall, I was looking for winter rims and tires.
A buddy of mine is in the industry of repairing vehicles and he found me 17" wheels and snows for $1600 through a local tire shop. The wheels are chrome (not OEM, not clad, I don't think - have not seen them yet) and the snows are an off-brand (read: not Michelin Arctic Ice or any recognizable brand).
My question is what do I have to ask about the tire pressure sensors?

Will this truck work without these sensors? Is there a kit I'll have to buy extra? Will this work? I know nothing and I need advice. Thanks in advance.

shop around.. you can get brand new tire/wheel packages for less than that.. www.performanceplustire.com they have good prices on alot of their stuff and it's free shipping on all the tire/wheel packages.. you can search by vehicle so it's really easy... i seen on there once something about the air pressure sensors.. i think it said something about a "sensor friendly" rim.. and they sell the sensors for something like $70 each... BUT. what i want to know is if it takes a specific "sensor friendly" rim (and it probably does), can you use the sensors from your stock rims?

I want to keep my stock rims and tires for summer so I don't think swapping out the sensors is an option?? Is it? Don't forget I'm in Canada so deals and availablity are not as good as you guys can get in the US.
Thanks for the link - I'll check them out. I have made no promises to anyone on this latest "deal".

Update:
I'm told these new wheels will work fine, but there will be a light constantly on indicating low tire pressure. Is that all, or will it cause other issues with no pressure sensors on my snows?
