Default Another Undercover - New pics of my truck

I added an Undercover and blacked out my front Ram's head. I also put on some 35% tint on the front windows.

Yes, it is dirty. We have a kid in the family and I don't have time to wash it and make it pretty.

I want to do something with the rear Ram's head since it is the only chrome piece left on the truck. I also want to powder coat my wheels black.

After that, I want to retrofit my fog lights with HID projectors and black the reflectors out. If it goes well, I want to retrofit the headlights too. If I decide to do it, I will be a year or two at least...

Any suggestions?

Looks good. Did you install the tailgate seal also? What did you use for the front Ram's head?

Thanks.

I just got the tailgate seal, it will go on this weekend. I also have air bags coming too.

I sanded the emblem with 600 grit, then spray painted it gloss back. I ran the sand paper over the rough spots and drips after each coat. It has three coats of black and two of clear coat.

I'd say, tint the fogs, install the HID kits for low and fog, black-out the headlight innards, and then black the rear Dodge logo. Oh, and get some smoked covers for the plates. Not too dark though where you get hassled by the cops.

Outside of that, I'd move inside and add whatever creature comforts you'd like.

Overall, I say it looks nice.

Thanks. The interior is fine stock. I don't want to mess with it right now. I'd love some Katzkin leather seat covers though!

Tinting the fogs may be an option. I'll keep that in mind. It is a cheap mod to do. I def. want to paint the headlight innards.

There seems to be a guy on the other forum that shall not be named who seems to be in the business of painting headlights now. He just posted up pictures of a matte black set he did. I think they'd look awesome on your truck. Well those or a set of color matched ones.

I am moving to FL in 28 days. I can hide from cops for that long...

FL is 28%

Ehh, I am thinking about all of the traffic that will be in Ames, but hopefully our new coach will take us somewhere this year.

Looks good. I took my truck today to see if would leak. And after the wash, there was no water in the bed.

Congrats!
