Default Cold Air Intake for 09 HEMI

I had a K&N Cold Air Intake (CAI) on my 05 Ram. I traded it in for a 09 Ram HEMI and went searching for another K&N CAI but could not find one for the 09. Called K&N and they said they are still doing some R&D for the 09 because Dodge had changed something and the current model CAI will not fit the 09's.

I think there are some other CAI out there from other manufacturers as I have seen on the forums here. I have always been kind of partial to K&N but could someone tell me what current options I have for a CAI that is reputable and will function just as well, if not better than the K&N. I would hold off but who knows when K&N will finally get one out for the 09s.

Thanks!!!

Well I am in the same boat, I would like to wait for K&N but dont know if I can wait that long.
Here is the afe selections:

and here is the Airraid setup:

these are the two that I am keeping my eyes on. As far as the filters go, all the oiled filters are pretty similar as far as how well they work.....a company is not going to make a filter that lets too much dirt into the motor because that is just bad business and they would go broke. If you can't wait til K&N releases theirs then by all means shop around to see what you can find but I will try to wait just to see what K&N comes up with.

I had my truck tested by them last month and was told about 2-3months. So as soon as I get word on the release date I'll post it ASAP.

Have you really looked at the air box in the truck and where the air comes from all the CAI's do are replace where the air comes from...puts it....hey, in the same spot but uses the hood as a lid to conical filter. I can't see how a dyno will give you real life mileage, or is it just for hissing noise and 2 HP gain for 400 bucks. JMHO again.
