For those interested in the 2010, looks like the Challenger style hood will be available as a separate option. Guess Dodge does read these boards.

The hood is Option Code MGB.

Should also be available as part of the Sport Appearance Package. Double check on that but it was a part of the package last year. (never got built though due to the bankruptcy) Option Code AGG.

The hood should be standard equipment on the R/T based on the info from Allpar.

I guess I'm in the minority of those that think the hood looks terrible on our trucks. When I was looking to buy my truck, the local dealership to me had a black quad sport with this hood and the body kit on it. They offered a good deal on it but I just couldn't get over the looks. They've since took the parts off because the truck wouldn't sell.

 

I agree, ugly. Looks like those silly hoods that the chevy guys are so fond of. But not as ugly as the hoods that have the big single scoop in the middle.

 

I really don't much like the hood either. Maybe your not in the minority.... just emerging from a silent majority.

 

I personally like the hood we have now, everyone comments when you pull beside someone in another truck or anything for that matter they allways says with their head nodding "that's one of those new RAM's eh" (eh is canadian a lot of things but here I guess it means "isn't it?" I gotta keep the windows up it is getting annoying, I have never gotten so much attention...you would think
