Default Flame Paint Job - Street Scene Grille & Hot Rod Pinstriping

well here is a few teaser pics...

sorry for the cell phone pics

also i will be having red/white pin striping on the tail gate.. and im painting my grille to look like this...

im going to order the correct body color paint from dodge here in about an hour...

also i will be replacing the hood spears with matching flames...

the color scheme for the hood flares and side flames will be orange/red... like this

ALSO........... i just ordered my black speed scene grille inserts so i should get those in the next day or two..

all of this is being done by famouse hot rod painter VanDemon..

more of his work can be seen at www.VanDemon.com

we are also toying with the idea of using green flames.. it would be more wicked.. but im scared of coming out too ghetto with the 24s and all..

so we might just stick with the old school hot rod colors...

everything should be wraped up and finished around the 1st of the month... ill keep you guys updated with whats going on...

im sooo fukin excited....

heres a quik 1 minute photoshop of whats to come...

Very cool. I myself prefer more of the realistic flames that is being done.

I'd vote for a realistic flame or a fading ghost/smoke color flame personally, the other ones just look to cartoony to me, not to mention you can buy stickers that look like that.

If you like it though then go for it, it will definitely make it stand out!!

Either way, it will look nice. Oragish/yellow flames, or more red?

...Prefer the real flame look and then a clean look with not much chrome.
Thats just my opinion. However, thumbs to Doc on having so much fun modding his toy. Im working on mine. Work in progress. Been toying with my other toys till truck is done.
