Could be, I don't fit in the back seat of an 09 Quad cab 1500 or my neighbors 06 Quad cab 2500.

I'm finding it hard to believe that you spent $25K - $40K and have no idea what you bought

last night i checked out the window stickers... you are correct; my '06 was a qc.
i just bought the same thing i had before and assumed it would be the same as i had before!
i dont really care about the back seat, but i do like the "larger" bed on the my qc.

I also didn't know they made a quad and a crew. I assumed mine was a crew until right before the papers were signed. I really don't care about the back seat anyway, just use it for storage and prefer the big bed so I got it. The back seats have less room then the 3rd gens, it reminds me alot of the QCs on the 2nd gens.

One of the reasons I had never considered a Ram before this year was the lack of a real crew cab. Dodge confused things with the Quad cab designation when everyone else called that size of truck an extended cab.

Yeah but then they would of been the only truck with a true 4 door extended cab configuration. That would of been kinda weird.

QC's have never changed regarding room for passengers. I have looked at them, 05,06 and 08 but never bought one since I couldn't get a car seat to fit properly. I almost pulled the trigger on a Mega but didn't. Glad I waited for the Crew. Just the right amount of space for rear passengers

they did for 2009. it looks like the 2009 cc is basically the same as a 2006-08 qc.
while the '09 qc is smaller and wasnt an option (size wise) before now.

The o9 CC is bigger than the 06 to 08 qc since I was in the market for one then and the back seat was always the problem till now. I have expert opinions, 6 foot kids that have been in all thoseyears and this one is by far the biggest and best comfort they say.

There is a considerable difference in the 2nd 3rd and 4th gen QC's, I've had all three. The length of the truck is the basically the same but the way its designed makes the difference in leg room. The 3rd gen has more than the 2nd and the 4th has less than the 3rd.
There's no comparison between the CC and any QC, CC is much bigger.
