Default trouble with spray-in box liner????

I had a spraying line installed by my local autobody guys. About a month later i noticed it was cracking and pulling up the red paint leaving primed gray paint of the box. Anyone had trouble with this??? I wonder if Dodge has bad paint like the neons did in the 90's. Let me know?

Kris

I've got a LineX, and so far I've had no problems. I haven't really used the bed to haul dirt, mulch, or anything that would require a shovel. I have though used it for boxes, small server racks, and chairs. Oh, and I also moved a set of box springs in it.

Got a picture? Seems like whatever you had sprayed must be awful thin if it's peeling up.

I had my dealer due mine, haven't had a problem. I use mine for hauling tools, boxes, ladders, coolers. I rub & drag them across the bed no failure yet. Is the bed the only place the paint peeling? If so I would question the place that applied the coating, they might not have prep the bed proper.

Sounds cheap and sounds like poor prep. What brand was it? I'd take my truck back and make them pay for something a lot better like Line-X.

I had a spayed in liner on my 96 Ram. Never a problem in 10 years. Had my 09 done and after 8 months its still fine. I agree it was poor prep work and a bad job. Have the dealer fix it.
