For not buying them is what I meant.

Personally, I tend to shy away from a first year model run truck. Too many issues to fool with. I'm hoping all the kinks are worked out by June of next year.

There is logic in not buying a new vehicle year one of production. I could not pass up the deals they were making on them. Basically not long into the 09 run they began pricing them they way they were pricing the 08s. If the economy was not in the tank I do not think we would have saw prices like that.

Don't forget the lifetime warranty that the 09's have

Thanks for clarifying.

I agree, to a point, with not buying a first year model. Of course, I bought one anyway...

Sounds like your going to be in the market for one soon??

If everything goes to plan, then yes. I'm still torn on what to get though. I like the look of the 1500, but I sometimes need the capability of a 2500. Then again, it would be the pot calling the kettle black because if I were to get an 2010 2500, it would be yet another first year model run. See my dilemma?

I'm thinking an 07.5 5.9 diesel would be in my favor. BUT I haven't ruled out the 4th gens just yet.

I live in Alberta Canada, the Texas of Canada if you like.... only... no guns. hehe.

Anyway. big Oil lives here so there are many trucks in general and I see hell of a lot of RAM's and a decent percentage of those are 2009. I'm just starting to see a number of Tundra's and Tocoma's though as well.

We just came back from a 2 week vacation going up through TN, VA, PA, NY over to Niagara Falls in Canada, then back home via MI, IN, etc and I could count how many 09s we saw on both hands. I thought we would have seen quite a few more than what we did. Oh, while we were in Canada, a Viper club meet was up there. There were about 200ish Vipers around Niagara Falls. My other half was in heaven

well i live around detroit. i STILL dont see any. im lucky to see one a week. for our area. i think the big issue is the people with 07' 08 leases arent up yet. i remember around here they were leasing rams for $100. a month or something goofy like that..

im with 94rt on the price breaks. i was damn close to $14k in rebates when i bought my 09 sport
