I bought an 09 Ram Quad Cab Hemi 4x4 about 2 months ago, and already have 10,000 miles on it, ( I own a heating and air co. so I do alot of driving), anyway, when I bought it, the front suspension and steering seemed very tight. I thought I could feel it getting a little loose, didn't know if it was my imagination though. About a week and a half ago, I took it to Dyersburg, TN and had a Rough Country leveling kit put on it, 2 1/2 in. front, 3/4 in. in rear, when I picked it up, I could tell a little difference in the way it handled, not bad though. But over the last week and a half, it's gotten worse. Steering seems really loose and noisy. Can feel almost every bump now, even the small ones hit hard. Talked to Rough Country today and they said there's nothing in the kit that would cause that. I don't know what it could be. I'm thinking that if I take it in to the dealership, they might give me a hard time since I put an aftermarket leveling kit on it.

What size wheels do you have? If they are 20's I would say thats why.

It's the stock 20's with the stock tires.

LOL - Rough Country, the Yugo of lift kit manufacturers.

When you put in the lift kit, did you get new shocks/struts with it? 2.5" of lift is going to be really pushing the travel on the front shocks. Might want to check and see if they are leaking or rebounding.

I called the shop that installed it and asked them about that, they said that it was a spacer that went on top of the strut and coil in the front, and under the coil in the back. And with doing it like that, everything in the front would have been just like stock. With that setup, he said that there should not be any rebound problems, or any excessive stress on the strut or the coil spring.
