2009 Larami. On both the drivers and pasangers mirrors right between the little white leds there is this sensor. it looks like it would be for blind spot detection, but i signaled and drove beside a car in my blind spot and nothing. so not sure what they do. i did search for posts so if this a repeat sorry.

if you're referring to the dark spot between the white leds, i think that's where the yellow turn signal lights are in the mirror housings. i'll take a look at my mirrors when i get the chance. anybody else have any idea?

The heated mirrors are not automatic. You have to push the defrost button for them to turn on.

Sounds to me like you are looking at the turn signal LED also.

I have the same thing dude. If you pump the gas 2 times and then honk the horn a very powerful death laser shoots from that spot. Just kidding. Turn LED.

HIJACK TIME... What about the sensor on the back of the rear view mirror??? The 'idiot salesman' told me it's when you have your high beams on, and a car is coming it auto dims... I've tested and feel sorry for the people I drove past with my high beams on...
