Default 2009 1500 NAV and BlueTooth transplant?

Hi guys. I just drove home in my new 2009. They had some seriously awesome deals going on so I got in one for the right price but I had to settle without two things that I had before and want to have again:

Bluetooth and NAV.

Seems to be the NAV systems in older mopars were easily transplanted. Does anyone know if that is still the case with these 09 models? The salesman said they are pre-wired but I learned a long time ago not to take what they say as fact.

Anyone done it? Anyone know if it can be done? In either case, any details are appreciated.

Somewhat Easy swap, the radio anyway, and you can probably find one but you will still have to make a trip to the dealer. Be sure to get one the is High Speed Bus and it will be an RER, you should get the gps antenna with it...as far as Satellite antenna you will have to get that too. If you have the cash go to an after market especially if you are not doing the install yourself.
These are the part numbers you can use 5064739AA
5064739AB
5064739AC
5064739AD....preferably this one.
All the same just updated version. Go here http://www.wkjeeps.com/Mygig_parts.htm#PARTS and you can verify yourself.

That's what I was hoping for. I did one on my viper last year and went pretty smoothly. Just wasn't sure if the 2009 was using something special.

how about the blue tooth? Any ideas on that?

If your truck came equipped with u connect and Sirius satellite then it's just a simple install. I purchased my entire factory kit 1400.00 which included the nav unit, u connect, sirius satellite, back up camera, lock pick which allows you to use your nav while moving. The hardest part was running the wiring for the back up camera and the installation of the camera in the tailgate handle.

I think it has UConnect. It has Sirius and it's labeled as uconnect so I think that's what it is. Plus there is a UConnect button on the current head unit. Doesn't do anything, but it's there.

Where'd you get your complete kit at?

I see the rer head unit handles the blue tooth too.

There are apparently a number of different models of the RER (nav) and associated harnesses and jumpers that are needed to get it to work in a vehicle that had an REN (non-nav) (or more specifically factory-installed UConnect). This is because the RER has a UConnect module built-in, which will conflict with the factory-installed module of the non-RER vehicles. If you have a UConnect button that doesn't do anytihng, you probably don't have the factory-installed UConnect module, so you shouild be able to use the UConnect module included in the RER (bonus!). Just be certain you have identified the correct RER for your vehicle.

Part of the reason for this wiring is you still need some type of antenna. Factory installed uconnect the antenna is in the rearview mirror, so you still will need some wiring.
