4x4 Gear Box Oil
hey all,
a friend of mine here in Egypt has the 2009 quad cab laramie and he had this 4x4 oil seal leak and he got a new oil seal. the problem is that the oil in the 4x4 is not ATF+4 and we cant find it here even at the dealer. so is it possible we can use ATF+4 or is it gona screw the 4x4? can he even use the ATF+4 as a temp. oil till the other oil comes?

He has the 246 transfer case and cannot use ATF+4. He has to use the same stuff that the SRT-8 Jeep guys use because he has a clutch setup for the Auto 4X4. If the dealer says that thet do not know what to use, go to a Jeep dealer and ask for the lube for an SRT-8 Jeep.
